As an API Developer, you'll dive right into creating innovative solutions that advance Vizy Pay and your career. You'll join an inspiring team of technologists dedicated to developing and deploying large-scale Fin Tech infrastructure solutions. Engaged in all phases of the software development lifecycle, which include gathering and analyzing user/business system requirements, responding to outages, and creating application system models. You are a generalist working on both frontend, backend, and external APIs.

The primary objective is to develop systems to meet complex business needs. The developer will be working with a variety of applications as well as developing custom web and integration applications to meet the business requirements of the Company. Work with end users and business support teams to translate business requirements into Information Technology solutions.

This role contributes to the ongoing evolution of the existing portfolio of homegrown and external applications and services by designing, developing, modifying, implementing, and supporting software components throughout the software stack.

• Lead the development of product features using Java, PHP, Dart, MySQL, and SQL Server.
• Design and implement high-performance trading APIs.
• Build and consume APIs that are Rest/SOAP based, working with continuous integration, continuous testing, and continuous delivery.
• Deliver a high-quality production code.
• Utilizing technical expertise creates system requirements, performs design and analysis, and coding and unit testing of complex to highly complex system functionality and/or defect correction across multiple platforms.
• Identify and handle technical risks and issues.
• Work in an experienced project team alongside other developers, testers, analysts, and other team members.
• Contribute across the technology stack, from database and Dev Ops infrastructure that supports continuous deployment, to developing native apps, to developing apps upon the Microsoft Power Platform.
• Use agile or lean engineering practices and various software and web development technologies to rapidly develop creative and efficient solutions.
• Define, implement, and tune detective capabilities and data sources to detect and remediate issues related to runtime, performance, and capacity.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent level of experience.
• 5+ years of designing, developing, and testing software experience.
• Experience with Microsoft Azure and Dev Ops.
• Demonstrated understanding of relational databases and structured query techniques.
• Experienced back-end developer who can work with front-end devs to implement requirements on a variety of apps.
• Understanding, implementing and deploying cloud-based microservices, web, API, and database applications.
• Experience in one or more general-purpose programming languages:
  Java, PHP, Dart, MySQL, and SQL Server.
• Code refactoring, design patterns, design-driven development, continuous deployment, highly scalable applications, and application security.
• Exposure to Agile or Lean philosophies.
• Ability to collaborate with different roles to achieve common goals.
