IT Specialist (APPSW) Data Solutions Developer
SummaryResponsible for technical leadership in designing, building, and maintaining ETL solutions and database architectures to support Management Information (MI) and Business Intelligence (BI) applications. Works with SQL, PL/pgSQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, DB2, Oracle, Ab Initio, Linux shell scripting, Crontab, and mainframe JCL, and supports WebFOCUS reporting.
Key Responsibilities- Design, develop, test, and support MI and BI applications and data environments.
- Build and maintain complex ETL pipelines and database architectures.
- Develop and manage scripts using SQL, PL/pgSQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, DB2, Oracle, Ab Initio, Linux shell scripting, Crontab, and mainframe JCL.
- Implement and maintain WebFOCUS reporting solutions.
- Communicate BI concepts to technical and non‑technical audiences.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to other team members.
Specialized experience at the GS‑12 level (or equivalent) in or related to the position, including:
- Experience contributing to MI and BI application development.
- Proficiency in SQL-based technologies (SQL, PL/pgSQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, DB2, Oracle).
- Experience with Ab Initio, Linux shell scripting, Crontab, and mainframe JCL.
- Knowledge of ETL processes and data modeling.
