Bus driver

Human relations involvement: a bus driver must:
1) understand and interpret written and oral communications and instructions;
2) cooperate with school system personnel, parents, students, and other motor vehicle operators.

Minimum qualifications:

the bus driver must:
1) possess a high school diploma or ged;
2) be a minimum of 21 years of age;
3) a valid class a or b cdl with air brake endorsement, passenger endorsement and school bus endorsement;
4) pass a yearly dot physical examination from a certified medical examiner who is listed on the fmcsa national registry
5) pass criminal history check; and
6) pass random alcohol and drug testings.
