Ingram Marine Group, the leading carrier on America’s inland waterways, is looking for a highly motivated individual to join our logistics team as a Liquids Logistics Services Representative (or Partner) in our Nashville, TN office.
This role will play a critical part in ensuring commodities reach our customers reliably, efficiently, and safely. It is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast‑paced setting, enjoys strategic planning, has an eye for detail and can adapt quickly to changing priorities.
What you will be doing- Uphold our Zero Harm policy and culture at every level of communication
- Manage a river segment, including coordination of boats, barges, vendors, and customers
- Perform accurate and timely data entry using Ingram’s suite of logistics applications
- Coordinate equipment to efficiently meet our commitments to customers
- Create towboat orders for expedited tows within your logistical area
- Schedule tank barges on line haul boats (internal and external) in a timely manner
- Communicate directly with customers and vendors to ensure service expectations are met
- Review and approve vendor invoices with accuracy and timeliness
- Collaborate with the sales team to understand and meet customer requirements
- Work cross‑functionally with all departments to manage operations while maintaining cost efficiency
- Bachelor’s degree required (may be waived with significant relevant experience)
- 1–3 years of customer service or logistics experience preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal)
- Excellent organizational and time‑management abilities
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong problem‑solving and critical thinking skills
- Ability to thrive in a collaborative, team‑based environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
This role is primarily on‑site, with the option to work remotely one day per week (Friday) after a training period.
