Aviation Maintenance Site Lead

Overview

Aviation Maintenance Site Lead role focused on maintaining relations with local military units and restoring jet engine performance using Aero Core Technologies’ proprietary foam technology. This is a physically active, field-based position that involves outdoor work, site visits, and operation of specialized equipment with a emphasis on precision and professionalism.

• Salaried Position

• Conduct business on military bases and coordinate with customers, teammates, and leadership
• Manage personnel schedules and workload to meet customer requirements
• Collaborate with coworkers and management on policies and procedures
• Perform compressor and turbine washes and support activities
• Operate and maintain Aero Core equipment and vehicles (inspect and service equipment)
• Drive and tow large vehicles and trailers on and off the airport ramp (flight line)
• Operate equipment safely and identify anomalies
• Collect waste and dispose of waste streams properly
• Collect on-site data and input into forms
• Coordinate schedules for aircraft availability
• Perform preventative and repair maintenance on mechanical equipment
• Maintain a professional attitude, communication style, appearance, and overall service delivery

• 7+ years of military or commercial experience in the mechanical/aviation industry (aviation experience preferred)
• 2 years in a leadership position (preferred)
• Initiative, drive, and autonomy
• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to pass a DOT physical
• Ability to pass and maintain a clear background and frequent/random drug tests
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. regularly
• Proven excellence following and maintaining safety precautions while working around large commercial equipment

• Certifications relating to Aircraft Mechanics
