Local Truck Driver CDL A Lead

Position Description

Ryder is hiring a Lead Class A CDL Truck Driver in City, State – offering weekly pay, excellent benefits, and a driving career you can feel good about.

• Average $1,005 per week (Hourly rate: $28.71)
• Average 35 hours per week
• Paid weekly; 80% driving, 20% other duties
• Schedule:
  
  Sunday–Friday, start Sunday 2:00 PM, Monday–Friday 2:00 AM
• Paid training provided

• Local home daily
• Tractor type:
  Day Cab Tri‑Axle & Straight Truck
• Trailer type: 48–53 ft Refrigerated Trailer
• Equipment: pallet jack or hand dolly

• Minimum age 21
• Pass Ryder drug test, background, and motor‑vehicle check (last 3 years)
• Pass DOT physical and Ryder road test
• Class A CDL with required endorsements
• Verifiable experience: 9 months in last 3 years, or 2 years in last 5 years, or 5 years in last 10 years
• Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions
• Ability to read, interpret, and apply laws, rules, regulations, and policies

• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and agency regulations and standards
• Detect and eliminate or minimize safety hazards; maintain accurate records and logs
• Load and unload freight; assist with loading/unloading as required by customer
• Perform other duties as assigned
