• Pay Rate: $65,000 – $70,000 per year.
• Food service experience is required.
• Touch freight with hand dolly delivery method.
• Begin on extra board with bidding for routes starting at 6 months.
• Dispatch between 9:00 PM and 10:00 PM; routes 12‑14 hours, 5 days a week.

• Inspect tractor‑trailer for defects pre‑ or post‑trip & submit DOT inspection report indicating condition.
• Inspect bill of lading, store keys for accuracy during off‑hour delivery.
• Drive tractor‑trailer to destination applying knowledge of commercial driving regulations and skill in maneuvering vehicle on the road and on customer premises.
• Maintain driver log (manual or Peoplenet) according to DOT regulations, documenting delivery receipt, product temperatures and exceptions.
• Unload trailer, delivering product into customer premises.
• Other duties as assigned.

• At least 21 years of age.
• Valid Class A commercial driver’s license (CDL‑A).
• At least 1 year or 50,000 verifiable miles of tractor‑trailer driving experience.
• Must meet McLane's MVR and risk rating qualifications.
• Ability to read, write, and understand English at a level sufficient to perform job‑related tasks effectively and safely.
