Job Description
The CDL Driver is responsible for safely operating commercial vehicles to transport and deliver construction materials to various project locations in a timely and professional manner. This role ensures accurate order delivery, adherence to DOT regulations, and provides exceptional customer service during each delivery.
Key Duties and ResponsibilitiesMaterials Delivery:
Operate 18‑wheel tractor‑trailers (dry van and flatbed) for local deliveries between the warehouse, job sites, and vendors. Safely load, secure, and transport construction materials, tools, and equipment in compliance with DOT regulations. Conduct thorough pre‑trip and post‑trip inspections on vehicles and trailers. Coordinate with warehouse staff, project managers, and field teams to support material delivery schedules. Assist with occasional rigging, load tie‑downs, and equipment handling as required.
Compliance:
Maintain accurate delivery logs, trip records, and inspection reports. Ensure compliance with all company safety policies and state/federal transportation laws.
- 10+ years of commercial driving experience in various terrains – on road and off road (preferably in construction, logistics, or material supply industries).
- 10+ years of experience hauling flatbeds and dry vans under varying load conditions, including active construction project sites.
- Strong knowledge of DOT regulations, weight limits, and cargo securement requirements.
- Reliable, safety‑conscious, and self‑motivated with excellent communication skills.
- Valid Class A CDL license required. Chauffeur license preferred.

Pay Range: $26.71 – $40.06. The actual salary offer will vary by candidate based on a wide range of factors such as specific skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
