Class A and B CDL Flatbed/Stepdeck Truck Driver
Breaux Petroleum Products, a leading provider of fuel and lubricants, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Class A and B CDL Flatbed/Stepdeck Truck Driver to join our team in Lockport, LA. In this role, you will be responsible for the safe and timely transportation of products while working closely with our dispatch team to ensure excellent customer service. Responsibilities- Load, unload, and secure cargo for transportation
- Record cargo deliveries and maintain accurate documentation.
- Refuel and clean vehicles as needed.
- Report incidents and mechanical problems to the dispatcher
- Follow all federal, state, and local traffic laws and regulations.
- Conduct pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and report findings
- Adhere to policies, procedures, and maintain safety standards.
- Deliver products in a safe and timely manner while maintaining a positive attitude with customers.
- Keep CDL and endorsements up to date.
- 2 years of CDL driving experience; 1-year experience with tankers preferred.
- Class A and/or B CDL with Haz Mat and Tanker endorsements
- 1 year of Haz Mat experience
- Interstate certification
- Current TWIC Card
- Clean MVR
- Pass DOT physical and drug screen
- Knowledge of Haz Mat, FMCSA, and DOTD regulations
- Able to provide Clearinghouse information.

The employee is frequently required to use hands to finger, handle, feel or operate objects, tools, or controls, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, or squat while being exposed to varies climate conditions. An employee needs to be able to secure the load on truck by strapping it in place according to the DOT guidelines as part of his job duties.
Able to pull hoses to connect to valves/tanks. Must be able to lift 35-51 lbs. sometimes overhead.
The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 51 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close and far vision, and the ability to adjust focus. Employees may be required to operate a forklift (equipment) when needed as part of his/her job duties.
