Performance Food Group - 321 West 10th Street - Responsibilities:
Learn to drive a tractor trailer or straight truck intrastate and/or interstate on local, over-the-road, shuttle, and/or overnight routes to deliver and unload various food and related products to customers;
Perform required safety checks (pre/post trip) and inspections per DOT regulations; report safety issues;
Drive to and deliver customer orders according to predetermined route delivery schedule; obtain signatures and verify delivery;
Unload products, move items into customer storage areas, and handle damaged goods and returns;
Complete daily record of hours of service and related paperwork in compliance with Federal DOT and company requirements
