About the Position

CNC Oilfield Services is seeking a dependable and experienced Trucking Dispatcher to coordinate the daily scheduling and dispatch of company drivers and trucks. This position primarily supports saltwater hauling and other oilfield transportation operations.

The Trucking Dispatcher is responsible for assigning loads, monitoring driver activity, coordinating routes, and maintaining continuous communication with drivers, supervisors, customers, and disposal facilities. This role is essential to maintaining safe, efficient, and uninterrupted operations across all shifts.

The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and able to make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment. Oilfield or fluid-hauling dispatch experience is strongly preferred.

Key Responsibilities
  • Schedule and dispatch drivers to customer locations, job sites, and saltwater disposal facilities.
  • Assign and coordinate loads based on customer demand, driver availability, equipment availability, and disposal capacity.
  • Maintain clear and professional communication with drivers throughout their shifts.
  • Monitor truck locations and driver activity using GPS tracking, mapping, tank-level monitoring, and company dispatch systems.
  • Reroute drivers and adjust load assignments as operational conditions change.
  • Respond promptly to calls from drivers, customers, supervisors, and disposal facilities.
  • Resolve scheduling, routing, equipment, and service‑related issues quickly and professionally.
  • Coordinate closely with field supervisors, customers, disposal sites, and internal departments.
  • Provide complete and accurate operational updates during dispatcher shift changes.
  • Maintain accurate records of routes, load details, job tickets, assignments, and dispatch decisions.
  • Use dispatching and mapping software to improve route efficiency and equipment utilization.
  • Ensure company procedures and safety protocols are followed during operations.
  • Remain calm and focused during periods of high demand, service disruptions, and emergency situations.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Previous trucking dispatch experience required or strongly preferred.
  • Oil and gas industry experience preferred, particularly in saltwater hauling, fluid transportation, or similar operations.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Effective problem‑solving and decision‑making abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple drivers, loads, customers, and operational priorities simultaneously.
  • Ability to follow established procedures while adapting to changing operational needs.
  • Reliable transportation and consistent attendance are required.

Schedule and Work Environment

This is primarily an office-based position involving extended periods of computer and telephone use. Candidates must be available to work a rotating schedule that may include:

  • Day and night shifts
  • Holidays
  • Occasional after-hours calls
  • Extended or adjusted shifts based on operational needs

The successful candidate must be able to work independently with minimal supervision after training and remain fit for duty throughout each assigned shift.
