Location: New Orleans
Description: Sophie B Wright is seeking to hire a bus driver for the School year. Driver must have current CPNC certification with Orleans Parish.
Key Responsibilities Drive students safely on planned time schedules and routes. Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections. Obey all traffic laws and school bus safety rules. Maintain order and good student behavior on the bus. Assist students with boarding and exiting safely. Report any mechanical issues, hazards, or delays to the school. Qualifications and Requirements Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with Class B, Passenger (P), and School Bus (S) endorsements.
Pass a Department of Transportation (Use the "Apply for this Job" box below). exam and drug screening. Clean driving record with no major traffic violations. Pass federal and state criminal background checks. Ability to communicate well with children, parents, and staff.

High school or equivalent (Preferred)
Experience:
Current Driver's License CPNC (Required) School Bus Driving: 1 year (Required) Commercial Driving: 1 year (Required) License/Certification: CDL B (Preferred)
