As a Mud Hauler, you'll play a critical role in keeping drilling operations running smoothly by safely transporting drilling mud, base oil, and related materials between drilling locations, disposal sites, and storage facilities.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Hauling water-based and oil-based drilling mud and related fluids.
- Operating heavy-duty trucks safely and efficiently.
- Completing pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
- Following DOT regulations and company safety policies.
- Operating end dump and water bottle equipment.
- Securing loads and ensuring accurate documentation.
- Using the company's hauling software to manage loads and paperwork.
- Communicating with dispatch, field personnel, and customers.
- Navigating oilfield leases, yards, highways, and busy industrial locations safely.
- Supporting customers by providing timely deliveries and professional service.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL
- Current DOT Medical Card
- Must be at least 23 years old
- Ability to pass DOT physical and meet FMCSA requirements
- Clean driving record and strong safety history
- Minimum 2 years of saltwater hauling or similar oilfield fluid transportation experience preferred
- PEC Safety Card preferred or ability to obtain
- Safety-focused

This position is physically demanding and requires the ability to:
- Lift and move 50-75 lbs regularly.
- Climb ladders and access elevated work areas.
- Connect and disconnect hoses.
- Work outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Enter and exit commercial equipment multiple times throughout a shift.
- Work extended hours, nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
