Warehouse Associate

Overview

We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to join our team at a premier local alcohol distribution facility. In this role, you will be primarily responsible for the "return put-away" process, ensuring that inventory returned from delivery routes is accurately checked, sorted, and restocked into its proper warehouse location. • Return Put-Aways: Receive, inspect, and log product returns from delivery trucks.
• Restocking: Safely and accurately restock inventory (cases and kegs) into designated warehouse slots, racks, or shelves.
• Inventory Control: Use a handheld scanner (RF scanner) or paper logs to update inventory counts and ensure warehouse organization.
• Quality Check: Identify and separate damaged, broken, or expired products according to company policy.
• Warehouse Maintenance: Assist in keeping the warehouse clean, organized, and free of debris to maintain a safe working environment.

• Consistent daytime hours (7:00 AM - 4:00 PM) with weekends off.
• Physical stamina required: ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 40-50 lbs regularly throughout an 8-hour shift.
• Compensations: pay based on education, work experience, location, duties, certifications, etc.

• Footwear:
  Must have steel-toe or durable closed-toe boots (required on day one for safety).
• Experience:
  
  Prior experience in a warehouse, distribution center, or beverage environment is highly preferred. 1-4 years of experience.
• Education:
  
  High school diploma or equivalent.
• Skills:
  
  Basic math skills for counting inventory and a sharp eye for detail.
• Practical qualities:
  Dependable transportation to guarantee a 7:00 AM start time; punctuality; and team-oriented mindset.
