SUMMARY

Manual and vehicular transport of product within warehouse facilities according to specified work rate requirements. This position supports AWG's mission to remain firmly committed to ensuring the success of our member retailers and providing opportunities to employees by delivering quality merchandise and superior support services.

• Transport product within facility using pallet jacks and other vehicles, working in varied indoor ambient and temperature‑controlled conditions, including cool or below‑freezing areas.
• Retrieve and place product along aisles and between pallet racks, using a full reach of 84 inches and operating in limited‑access and high‑area locations; climb between selection modules and use ladders as needed. Mark product for inventory and complete tasks per performance requirements.
• Manually transport product to and from stock areas and pallets, including conveyors, while using protective equipment and voice select (Vocollect) as required.
• Determine product placement based on written and verbal instructions.
• Recognize auditory signals, communicate verbally and with written symbols, and coordinate with coworkers to ensure task completion.
• Fill store orders accurately, safely, and productively while adhering to corporate policies and state and federal laws.
• Work as a member of the AWG team, promoting cooperation, integrity, tact, and consideration toward members, associates, and management.

• High‑school diploma preferred; prior warehouse experience and mobile equipment operation preferred.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions in English.
• Conscientious, detail oriented, safety minded, and willing to learn and apply information.

Ability to read and speak fluent English; read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals; write routine reports and correspondence.

Ability to calculate figures and apply concepts of basic math and algebra.

Ability to solve practical problems and handle varied situations with limited standardization, interpret instructions in written, oral, diagrammatic, or schedule form, and work collaboratively with coworkers.

Regularly required to sit, handle objects, reach with hands and arms, and speak or hear. Frequently required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, and lift up to 100 pounds. Vision requirements include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. Must operate safely warehouse mobile equipment.

Indoors with adequate cooling, heating, and lighting; outdoors as needed. Warehouse environment with moderate noise from industrial mobile equipment and varied temperatures. Temperatures range from
-15°F to upper 40s°F in non‑air‑conditioned areas and cooler sections.
