Shipping and Receiving Associate Job Description

This role involves working in either the shipping or receiving areas, packaging and handling electrical supplies. The items can range from small boxes labeled as parts to large electrical spools with wiring. These will be processed internally for inventory or shipped out to clients. Employees will unload trucks and input products into the computer system, requiring basic scanner and computer skills.

Responsibilities also include using computer systems to set up shipments, coordinate with vendors, track inventory, and verify the accuracy of orders.

• Package and ship electrical supplies ranging from small boxes to large spools.
• Stationed in loading or receiving areas to unload trucks.
• Input products into the computer system using scanners.
• Set up shipments and coordinate with vendors using computer systems.
• Track inventory and verify accuracy of all orders.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Rayville, LA.
