Warehouse Receiver

Talascend is currently seeking a Warehouse Receiver for a contract opportunity with our client in Port Allen, Louisiana
.

This position is responsible for the proper performance and efficient operation of inbound receipt of goods, inventory accuracy, compliance with regulations, and maintaining good housekeeping within a warehouse environment.

• Receive inbound shipments for internal and external customers both domestically and internationally.
• Complete all receipt documents, post in ERP system, and move inventory to appropriate warehouse locations.
• Fill inventory stocking requests for residual returns production floor.
• Verify inventory accuracy through cycle counts and batch reconciliations.
• Properly move and store inventory to maintain good housekeeping and ensure segregation compliance.
• Ensure training is completed on time and certifications are up to date.
• Perform projects as assigned by Materials Management.

• High School or Associate's Degree or equivalent experience and education.
• 1-3 years of experience in a warehouse environment responsible for inbound receipts.
• Working knowledge of dangerous goods transportation and handling.
• Demonstrated ability to perform the duties of this position through relevant experience, training, or education.
