Furniture Mart is looking for a hardworking and dependable Furniture Warehouse Associate to join our team in Gretna, LA! This is a hands‑on role where you’ll play a key part in keeping our warehouse running smoothly and getting quality furniture into the hands of our customers. • Receive, unload, and inspect incoming furniture shipments for accuracy and damage
• Organize and maintain warehouse inventory in a clean, orderly, and efficient manner
• Pick, pack, and prepare furniture orders for customer pickup or delivery
• Load and unload delivery trucks safely using proper lifting techniques and equipment
• Assist with furniture assembly and product staging as needed
• Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks
• Collaborate with sales and delivery teams to ensure accurate and timely order fulfillment

• Previous warehouse, logistics, or furniture experience preferred
• Ability to lift and move heavy items (50–100+ lbs) regularly
• Forklift certification or willingness to obtain certification a plus
• Strong attention to detail and inventory management skills
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work in a fast‑paced environment
• Team-oriented with good communication skills
• High school diploma or GED preferred
