Storekeeper

Under general direction performs input to SAP computer system in Receiving, Issuing, and Shipping of materials through intra site transfers, the receipt of fuels, and the Fixed Asset Accounting function, vendor repair facilities and other government agencies.

Under general direction performs various physical duties as assigned in keeping with Storekeeper B functions as: receiving, storing, issuing, ordering, posting, filing, inventory and recording in a production type parts storage area.

Under general direction operate material handling type equipment that will move or raise parts and material to accomplish store keeping functions such as loading and unloading trucks and basic warehousing.

Escorts vendors as necessary completes other related duties to ensure attainment of overall job objective and completes other assignments and special projects to support company goals.

Under general direction performs preventive user maintenance to upkeep equipment, tools, and hardware.

Under general direction prepares packaging for transportation of hazardous materials in accordance with CFR 49.

EDUCATION:

High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of two years experience in a shipping and receiving warehouse type environment. and have the technical skills to operate a real time, computer-based inventory control system.

CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES Must have and maintain a valid drivers license and be certified as a qualified operator of a wide variety of material handling equipment.
