Warehouse Operations Manager
Provide oversight of daily operations of the warehouse, including receiving, shipping, inventory management, equipment handling, and delivery coordination. Responsible for providing administrative support, order coordination and customer service for all orders.
Essential Duties
- Prepare returns and manage company credit
- Coordinate deliveries, jobs replacements and smallwares
- Track shipments and monitor open orders
- Coordinate and supervise receiving of freight trucks with freight carriers and internal deliveries and transfers.
- Manage receiving paperwork, returns and report damages per protocols
- Ensure timely and accurate data entry into warehouse systems.
- Identify and follow through with delivery orders or stock orders
- Maintain accurate inventory records through cycle counts and physical inventories
- Make delivers as needed and ensure equipment is delivered safely and professionally.
- Load and secure equipment onto trailers and delivery vehicles when needed.
- Coordinate projects activities, resources, equipment, materials and information for orders
Minimum Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- 3 plus years related experience. Previous experience in food service/construction and warehouse experience, including shipping, receiving, and inventory control.
- Must have strong customer service, communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience operating forklifts and other warehouse equipment; forklift certification preferred or ability to obtain certification.
- Experience using ERP or Warehouse Management Systems.
- Experience using barcode scanners, wireless warehouse technology, and data entry systems preferred.
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record and the ability to operate company delivery vehicles as necessary.
Physical Requirements
- Frequently lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds.
- Operate forklifts and other powered warehouse equipment safely.
- Stand, walk, bend, kneel, reach, and climb throughout the workday.
- Work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Safely operate company delivery vehicles as required.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Excellent customer service and communication abilities.
- Strong attention to detail and inventory accuracy.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office is required
- Proficiently using ERP software, and wireless warehouse technology is strongly preferred.
