- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, Operations Management, or related field and/or 5+ years of warehouse, distribution, or logistics experience in a manufacturing or distribution environment.
- 2+ years of leadership experience managing warehouse personnel and daily operations.
- 2+ years of experience with inventory management, cycle counting, and warehouse management systems (WMS) or ERP systems.
- Knowledge of shipping processes and documentation requirements.
- Working knowledge of warehouse safety regulations, GMPs, and inventory control best practices.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Outlook, and Teams.
- Proven ability to prioritize work, solve problems, and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a warehouse environment as needed.
- Ability to travel periodically for warehouse audits and business support activities.
The Warehouse Manager leads all warehouse and distribution operations, including receiving, inventory, storage, shipping, and personnel management. This role ensures the safe, efficient, and compliant movement of materials and finished goods while maintaining inventory accuracy and supporting production and customer needs. The position also focuses on employee development, operational performance, cross-functional collaboration, and continuous improvement through Lean and problem-solving methodologies to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and drive overall warehouse performance.
Inthis job, you’ll do things like:
- Lead all warehouse functions including Receiving, Production Receiving, Inventory Control, Domestic Shipping, and Export Shipping.
- Monitor departmental performance and drive achievement of operational goals.
- Maintain inventory accuracy through effective transaction control, cycle counts, and audits.
- Ensure timely receipt, storage, movement, and distribution of materials and finished goods.
- Oversee domestic and international shipping operations to ensure on-time delivery.
- Ensure compliance with customer requirements, transportation regulations, and import/export requirements.
- Manage relationships with carriers, freight forwarders, and third-party logistics providers.
- Lead, coach, and develop warehouse personnel to achieve performance objectives.
- Ensure compliance with GMPs, safety standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, quality, delivery, inventory accuracy, and cost reduction.
