Job Title
Senior Electrical Engineer Manager
LocationLouisville, CO office with the option to work a few days a week remotely. Travel: up to 5 %.
Responsibilities- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of electrical engineers, providing guidance, support, and performance feedback of a distributed team across two offices.
- Assign people to tasks and manage workloads to ensure timely project completion.
- Foster a collaborative and innovative team environment.
- Oversee the design, development, and testing of electrical systems and components for our application.
- Allocate resources effectively to meet project goals and deadlines.
- Provide technical expertise and guidance on electrical design, integration, and troubleshooting.
- Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory requirements.
- Drive continuous improvement in electrical engineering practices and processes.
- Ensure compliance with aerospace industry standards, including safety, reliability, and regulatory requirements.
- Implement and enforce quality assurance procedures to maintain high standards in all engineering activities.
- Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering; a Master’s degree or higher is preferred. - Minimum of 12 years of experience designing, testing, and troubleshooting complex board designs and systems in a hardware R&D lab environment, with 4 years in a managerial or leadership role.
- Proven experience in aerospace systems, or similar high reliability industry, and components is highly desirable.
- Understanding of hardware evaluation methodologies, including development of test cases/suites, performance analysis, test automation, and data analysis.
- Extensive experience with oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, thermal chambers, and other test equipment.
- Experience with I²C, SPI, PCIe, USB, and similar interfaces.
- Experience designing modern analog and digital electronics.
- Experience in PCB schematic capture & layout.
- Experience with Altium Designer tools or other similar electronic CAD tools.
- Experience designing high reliability systems.
- Knowledge of the PCBA fabrication and assembly process.
- Familiarity with PLM tools and strong revision control practices.
- Excellent design and manufacturing documentation skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work autonomously by determining and evaluating different courses of action independently.
- Strong technical communication skills in a highly collaborative environment.

Compensation and BenefitsThe approximate base salary range for this position is $192k - $220k DOE. The total compensation package includes base salary, bonus, equity, and a range of benefits available on our career site.
