We currently have an opening in our Louisville, CO office for a full-time entry level Electrical Engineer.
Essential Functions- Designs portions of a project using engineering formulas and skills for ensuring safety and technical accuracy.
- Reviews design project for code compliance and performs code research as required to comply with applicable State, Local and Federal codes.
- Identifies and selects equipment from appropriate manufacturing catalogs for specific applications.
- Performs on-site investigations and surveys prior to design.
- Writes electrical specifications through completion.
- Coordinates the contract documents between engineering disciplines and architectural details.
- Participates in coordination meetings with owner/architect.
- Provides technical support to contractors throughout construction.
- Instructs designers on how to produce designs into complete drawings.
- Performs own drafting/design using AutoCAD and/or Revit and reviews own work for accuracy.
- B.S. degree in electrical engineering preferred with 0 to 1 years of job related experience.
- Must be able to use AutoCAD and Revit for drafting and design to complete a project.
- Strong oral and writing skills.
- Must be able to handle multiple tasks.
