Senior Engineer, High Voltage Development
Join AES Clean Energy Services LLC, a leader in global energy. This hybrid role is based in Louisville, CO, with 25% travel for site visits and factory inspections.
Lead conceptual, preconstruction, and construction phase engineering for high voltage substations and generation tie lines. Develop designs and scope of work documents for permitting, estimating, and regional renewable projects. Manage external engineering consultants and perform in-house high voltage design work. Conduct technical due diligence and coordinate with interconnection providers to ensure compliant designs.
Requirements include a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field and 6 years of experience in high voltage design. Experience in substation design, generation tie line design, utilities coordination, EPC bid analysis, technical due diligence, and design package development is essential.
Salary ranges from $156,354 to $159,500 per year, with a total compensation package including annual bonus, medical, dental, and vision coverage, life insurance, 401(k) eligibility, and paid time off.
