Cash Reconciliations Specialist

Compensation: $60,000 - $70,000

This organization is in the middle of a complex transition following a recent acquisition and multi-entity consolidation. To support this effort, the team is seeking a Cash Reconciliations Specialist who genuinely enjoys working with data, matching information precisely, and maintaining accuracy across systems.

This is a highly executional, Excel-driven role. Success in this position requires strong attention to detail, comfort with repetitive reconciliation work, and the ability to stay focused while working across multiple systems and screens throughout the day.

• Perform daily and monthly cash and deposit reconciliations across Excel and multiple internal systems

• Manually copy and paste data between systems, ensuring information matches exactly to remain in balance

• Identify, investigate, and resolve discrepancies using logical analysis and focused research

• Maintain clean, audit-ready reconciliation files and support schedules

• Work across multiple screens simultaneously, reviewing high volumes of transactional data

• Use Excel hotkeys and core functions to efficiently manipulate, validate, and reconcile large datasets

• Strong background in cash reconciliations, cash application, AR, bank operations, or shared services accounting

• Strong Excel skills are required, including frequent use of hotkeys, copy/paste accuracy, data validation, lookups, and pivots

• Experience working in high-volume, manual, detail-intensive environments

• Extremely detail-oriented with a natural tendency to double-check work

• Comfortable performing repetitive, precision-driven tasks for extended periods of time

• Ability to think on your feet and independently research discrepancies

• Love working in Excel
• Enjoy data matching and reconciliation work
