Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Junior Software QA Engineer to support testing efforts for electromechanical medical device software. This role focuses on software verification and validation (V&V), manual testing, and automation support in a regulated environment. The ideal candidate brings a strong foundation in software testing principles, collaborates effectively with development teams, and demonstrates a strong commitment to quality.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support software testing activities for electromechanical medical devices
    .
  • Analyze system and software requirements to develop comprehensive test cases and test plans
    .
  • Perform manual testing including:
  • Dry runs
  • Integration testing
  • Regression testing
  • Identify, document, and track software defects.
  • Develop and maintain automated test cases
    .
  • Collaborate closely with software developers and cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality releases.
  • Prepare and maintain detailed test documentation and reports
    .
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes and test strategies.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Computer Science
  • Electrical Engineering
  • Software Engineering
  • Or a related technical field
  • 2–6 years of experience in software testing.
  • Experience with manual testing and exposure to test automation
    .
  • Strong understanding of software verification and validation concepts.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience developing automated tests using Python and/or LabVIEW
    .
  • Background in embedded systems testing
    .
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Azure Dev Ops or similar test management tools.
  • Experience working in a regulated or medical device environment.
