Job Description & How to Apply Below

About the Company

Infleqtion (NYSE: INFQ) is a quantum technology company headquartered in the Boulder, Colorado area, commercializing atomic clocks, quantum sensing, and quantum computing for commercial and government customers. Newly public, PhD-dense organization, and scaling fast — with the enterprise-systems buildout that comes with that arc. You'll be engaged as a contractor through Nspired Tech Solutions, the IT consulting partner standing up the company's project execution capability, and you'll work directly with the IT leader as your day-to-day sponsor— a senior enterprise CIO heading the buildout.

The

Opportunity

This is a greenfield seat — and a hands-on one. You won't inherit a mature program — you'll help build one: mapping requirements, interviewing process owners, documenting controls, closing gaps, and driving the work to audit-ready. You'll do the work, not just manage it: drafting control narratives yourself, digging into systems to understand how they actually behave, and building the tooling and automation (including AI-assisted approaches) that make compliance faster and repeatable.

You'll partner directly with the IT leader, Finance, and Legal, and you'll have real influence on how compliance gets done as the company matures.

About the Role

Twelve months from now, you will have driven a slate of high-priority systems and compliance readiness initiatives to completion, and built the company's first compliance project structure that keeps readiness work visible and moving. This will be the compliance foundation for a high-visibility government contractor experiencing high growth. In other words, this is a role for someone who builds.

What You'll Own
  • Drive SOX readiness work streams end-to-end — control documentation, gap assessment, remediation tracking, and audit preparation
  • Lead government/regulatory compliance readiness initiatives in partnership with Legal and IT
  • Interview process and control owners across Finance, IT, and Operations; document current state and close documentation gaps
  • Produce the documentation, process maps, control narratives, SOPs, and other supporting compliance deliverables
  • Build and run the project structure — plans, status cadence, risk/issue tracking — that keeps readiness work visible and moving
  • Get hands-on with systems: understand access models, workflows, and data flows well enough to document and test controls yourself
  • Leverage technology and AI to streamline the work — automating evidence collection, accelerating documentation, and building lightweight tooling instead of throwing hours at manual processes
  • Coordinate internal teams and external auditors/consultants supporting compliance efforts
  • Establish repeatable compliance practices the company can carry forward
What We're Looking For
  • SOX experience is required — you've worked hands-on in SOX readiness, ITGC/control documentation, or audit preparation (first- or second-line, or as a consultant)
  • 5+ years of project management experience in IT, compliance, or regulated environments
  • Technical enough to be dangerous: you can read a system, understand an access model, and draft an ITGC narrative without an engineer holding your hand
  • A builder's instinct for efficiency — you use modern tools (including AI) to compress documentation, evidence, and tracking work, not just manage it manually
  • Comfortable in ambiguity: you build structure where none exists, and you're as happy interviewing a process owner as you are updating a control matrix
  • Strong cross-functional communication — Finance, Legal, IT, and executives
  • Familiarity with federal/government compliance frameworks is a plus
  • U.S. person status required (per U.S. export control regulations)
Preferred
  • Jira flue
ncy — you've stood up boards and workflows, not just worked in them.
  • Government Contractor experience.
  • BA skill set; PMP, CSM, or comparable delivery credential.
  • Boulder/Denver
    -area
Why This Role
  • Ground-floor compliance build at a company at a genuine inflection point — public-company obligations, fast growth, real stakes
  • Direct access to leadership; your work is visible and consequential
  • Strong likelihood of contract extension or conversion for the right person
Engagement
  • Structure: full-time hours, contract through Nspired Tech Solutions; 6-month initial term with extension and contract-to-hire potential.
  • Start:
As soon as possible targeting July 2026.
