Registered Nurse – Labor and Delivery

Advent Health is seeking a dedicated RN to join our Labor and Delivery team at 100 Health Park Dr, Louisville, Colorado. Eligible clinicians can participate in our Clinical Ladder Program, earning salary increases up to 20% based on experience, professional development and achievement of advancement criteria.

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate physiological, psychological, developmental, sociocultural, spiritual and lifestyle factors of patients.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient needs and standards of care, and regularly evaluate and revise these plans.
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely, following physician orders and hospital protocols, and monitor for adverse reactions.
• Educate patients and families about health conditions, treatments, medications and self‑care strategies to promote understanding and compliance.
• Collaborate with medical staff and ancillary departments to coordinate and optimize patient care, ensuring effective communication and teamwork.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient information, care activities, interventions and outcomes in the medical record.

• Associate’s degree in Nursing (required);
  Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year of Labor and Delivery experience.
• Registered Nurse license (required).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the AHA (required).
• Ability to perform EKG (as per patient documentation).
• Strong organizational and multi‑tasking skills.
• Effective verbal and oral communication and problem‑solving skills.
• Team‑player within a unit.
