General Manager Job Description

General Managers are responsible for meeting studio sales goals, membership renewals and ancillary service goals by pre‑planning with strategic new customer outreach, in‑club leads (first‑time riders) and securing member referrals. Under the management of a Franchise Owner and with the support of a Cycle Bar Experience team, General Managers must exemplify leadership qualities in all areas of the business. They must build lasting relationships with prospective and current members to foster strong ambassadorship and retain members.

The General Manager is rooted in hospitality and upholds our Mission of fueling energetic communal experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead Generation and marketing to generate studio leads.
  • Lead Management: follow the LASER process to convert leads to members.
  • New member acquisition and conversion of non‑members to memberships.
  • Membership and Rider Relations: build rapport, retain existing members, and handle concerns with a solutions‑focused attitude.
  • CBX Team Management: hire, train, schedule, supervise performance, and drive results.
  • Financial Performance: collaborate with Studio Owner to set monthly, weekly and daily targets; conduct pre‑planning to meet financial goals.
  • Operations: maintain cleanliness and organization of the Studio; ensure all technology works, submitting trouble tickets as needed.
Qualifications & Experience
  • 2+ years of retail/service sales or fitness sales experience.
  • Confidence in generating personal sales and training Sales Reps.
  • Ability to manage and drive two revenue streams: memberships and retail.
  • Fluent in English with excellent communication and strong interpersonal skills in person, telephone and email.
  • Capacity to excel in a fast‑changing, diverse environment.
  • Judgment in recognizing areas of improvement and making effective changes.
  • Affinity and passion for fitness.
  • Strong writing and grammar skills.
  • Highly organized; proficient in data management, prioritizing and meeting deadlines.
  • Professional, punctual, reliable and neat.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Trustworthy with ability to handle confidential information.
  • Ability to work harmoniously with co‑workers, clients and the general public.
  • Proficiency with computers and Studio software.
Physical Requirements
  • Willingness and ability to move bikes, perform minor bike maintenance, and lift up to 30 lbs.
  • Ready to clean Cycle Theater, bathrooms, lobby, etc.
Compensation & Benefits

Cycle Bar Experience Associate

Job Description

We are currently seeking a high‑energy, passion‑filled, sales‑motivated individual who is fitness‑minded and loves the community and our brand. We are a fast‑growing indoor cycling franchise looking for individuals who want to grow with us. Our Cycle Bar Experience Associate delivers the Cycle Bar experience and helps drive daily sales.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and supervise CBX staff, training them on sales and premium customer service.
  • Provide top‑of‑the‑line service to new and existing riders.
  • Execute the sales and hospitality process for first‑time rider experience, follow‑up and close potential members.
  • Meet member and retail sales goals assigned by the General Manager.
  • Ensure CBX staff meets goals during their shift.
  • Collaborate with studio management and franchise owner(s).
  • Participate in special events (health fairs, grand openings, marathons, community and hospital events) to promote the club.
  • Develop selling skills and maintain brand standards and initiatives.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Excellent sales, communication and customer service skills required.
  • Fluent in English with excellent communication skills in person, phone and email.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Proficient computer skills.
  • Willingness for a non‑traditional schedule, including holidays, early‑morning and weekend availability.
