About the Role
We're seeking a detail-oriented accounting professional to support month-end close, reconciliations, and general ledger activities across multiple entities.
Key Responsibilities
+ Support month-end close by preparing journal entries (accruals, prepaids, payroll allocations), maintaining schedules, and completing timely balance sheet reconciliations.
+ Assist with payroll accounting, general ledger maintenance, intercompany activity, and bank/credit card reconciliations across multiple entities.
+ Provide backup support for AP/AR functions, fixed asset maintenance, and depreciation schedules.
+ Perform basic financial analyses and ad hoc reporting while leveraging systems such as Sage, Excel, and timekeeping/payroll tools.
+ Deliver responsive support to internal stakeholders and assist with light training on accounting procedures as needed.
Requirements
Qualifications Required
+ 2+ years of experience in accounting (general ledger, reconciliations, payroll accounting support, and/or month-end close)
+ Proficiency in Excel (lookups, pivot tables; comfort working with large datasets)
+
Experience with an ERP/accounting system
+ Strong attention to detail, documentation habits, and ability to meet deadlines
+ Associate or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
