Staff Accountant

Artemis Solutions has partnered with a leading Medical Institute seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Staff Accountant to support core accounting functions within a growing organization. This role is ideal for an accounting professional who enjoys working with accurate financial data, supporting month-end processes, and collaborating with leadership to ensure strong financial operations.

The Staff Accountant will play an important role in maintaining financial integrity, supporting reporting needs, and assisting with day-to-day accounting activities while working closely with internal teams and external accounting partners.

• Maintain accurate and timely accounting records in accordance with established policies
• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions
• Prepare and post journal entries to the general ledger
• Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and balance sheet accounts
• Assist with monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes
• Support payroll processing and expense tracking
• Prepare and review basic financial reports for management
• Maintain organized financial documentation and audit-ready files
• Communicate with vendors, internal departments, and external partners as needed
• Provide support to CPAs and accounting partners during audits or reviews

• Prior experience in an accounting or staff accountant role preferred
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
• Working knowledge of accounting principles (GAAP)
• Experience with accounting software such as Quick Books, Xero, or similar systems
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
• Experience in healthcare or medical environments is a plus

Competitive Salary: $55,000–$70,000 annually (based on experience)
