Bookkeeper

Description We are looking for an experienced Bookkeeper to join our team on a contract basis in Louisville, Kentucky. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with strong organizational skills to manage financial records and ensure accuracy in accounting processes. The ideal candidate will have expertise in bookkeeping and Quick Books, along with a solid understanding of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations.

Responsibilities:

- Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with accounting principles.

- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions efficiently.

- Perform regular bank reconciliations to ensure proper account balances.

- Utilize Quick Books to manage and record financial data.

- Generate financial reports and provide insights to support decision-making.

- Track and monitor expenses to maintain budget accuracy.

- Assist in preparing documentation for audits and tax filings.

- Identify discrepancies in financial records and resolve them promptly.

- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless financial operations. Requirements - Proven experience in bookkeeping or a related financial role.

- Proficiency in Quick Books and other accounting software.

- Strong knowledge of accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.

- Ability to perform accurate bank reconciliations.

- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

- Effective communication skills for collaboration with team members.

- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a contract role.
