A growing and well-established organization in the Louisville area is seeking a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join its accounting team.
This role offers the opportunity to work in a collaborative environment with strong leadership and long-term growth potential.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Prepare and post journal entries
+ Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual account reconciliations
+ Assist with month-end and year-end close processes
+ Maintain general ledger accuracy
+ Support accounts payable and accounts receivable functions
+ Assist with budgeting and financial reporting
+ Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal controls
+ Support audits and provide necessary documentation
Qualifications:
+ Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
+ 2+ years of accounting experience preferr
+ Strong understanding of GAAP
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
+
Experience with ERP/accounting systems
+ High attention to detail and strong analytical skills
+ Ability to manage multiple deadlines
