Why This Role RocksAt Texas Roadhouse, we’re growing fast-and we’re looking for an Accountant who’s ready to roll up their sleeves and make an impact! In this role, you’ll be a key player on our Accounting Team, helping ensure our financials are accurate, timely, and support smart business decisions. You’ll collaborate across departments, dig into data, and help keep our financial engine running smoothly—all while bringing fresh ideas to the table.
This is an on-site position working a hybrid schedule (minimum 3 days in the office) at the Texas Roadhouse Support Center located in Louisville, Kentucky.
What’s On Your Plate- Prepare journal entries, including accruals and reclasses for P&L and balance sheet
- Complete monthly and quarterly balance sheet reconciliations
- Investigate and resolve reconciling items with a problem‑solving mindset
- Analyze monthly income statement fluctuations and provide insights
- Partner with Support Center teams on key initiatives
- Help drive process improvements and automation within accounting workflows
- Stay organized and efficient in a fast‑paced, high‑volume environment
- Support audit requests by gathering and preparing documentation
- Jump in on special projects that support both field operations and internal teams
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial information
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (with at least 12 accounting hours)
- 2+ years of accounting experience
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management skills
- Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment
- Solid communication skills and a collaborative mindset
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook
- Experience with D365, Power BI, or Cadency? That’s a bonus—but not required!

Support Center employees who meet benefit eligibility receive a comprehensive total rewards package starting the first day of the month after 31 days of employment.
