Ideal BackgroundThis role is a strong fit for an accountant with 2-5 years of public accounting experience who enjoys both tax and client-facing accounting work and is looking for broader exposure across advisory, financial reporting, planning, and consulting services.
Responsibilities- Prepare individual, corporate, partnership, and other tax returns
- Assist with financial statement preparation and related accounting engagements
- Perform audit, review, and compilation procedures as assigned
- Prepare and organize work papers in accordance with professional standards
- Analyze financial data and ensure accuracy of client financial records
- Participate in client engagements and collaborate with firm leadership and team members
- Assist clients with tax planning and advisory initiatives
- Support year-end planning, estate planning, trust services, and other consulting projects
- Draft reports, correspondence, and other client deliverables
- Manage multiple engagements while meeting established deadlines
- Stay current on accounting and tax regulations, including GAAP and industry best practices
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field
- 2-5 years of public accounting experience
- Experience preparing tax returns and working with tax engagements
- Exposure to financial statement preparation and/or audit engagements preferred
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and tax regulations
- Proficiency with accounting and tax software
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and client service skills
- CPA certification is not required; CPA candidates are encouraged to apply

Pay Details: $60,000.00 to $75,000.00 per year
