Our client, a media entertainment company, is looking for a Collections Analyst to join their team! This will be an onsite role working out of their office in Louisville. The successful candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree with experience in Accounts Receivable, Credit, Collections, or Billing.
Role OverviewContract Role: 8 months.
Pay: $23.69/hr on W2.
- Proactively contact customers to resolve discrepancies, ensure timely payments, and maintain strong professional relationships to support client financial targets.
- Prepare, analyze, and present key financial reports, including cash forecasts, aging reports, and discrepancy logs to support management decision‐making.
- Partner with internal departments, stakeholders, and the Order to Cash (OTC) team to resolve payment delays, manage account holds, and streamline the month‑end close process.
- Maintain accurate records, support audit requirements, manage AR ledgers, and embrace technological advancements and AI solutions to improve operational efficiency.
- Oversee and manage a high‑value Ad Sales collections portfolio for Local TV Stations to ensure optimised cash flow and minimal bad‑debt risk.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, or Finance with experience in Accounts Receivable, Credit, Collections, or Billing.
- Strong expertise in Microsoft Office (Excel/Word) and familiarity with ERP/financial systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle), alongside a solid understanding of basic accounting principles.
- Exceptional problem‑solving and analytical abilities, paired with strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively manage discrepancies and stakeholder relationships.
- Proven capacity to thrive in a fast‑paced environment by multi‑tasking, meeting critical deadlines, and adapting positively to organisational changes and transformation.
