Salary: $50,000-$65,000 + Annual Bonus

Our client, a well-established and privately held company in Louisville, is seeking an experienced Bookkeeper to join its accounting team. Responsibilities

+ Manage full-cycle accounts payable, including processing 200-300 invoices per month and weekly check runs.

+ Support accounts receivable by posting cash receipts and assisting with collections.

+ Assist with month-end close by preparing reconciliations, journal entries, and general ledger support.

+ Process biweekly payroll for approximately 40 salaried employees (payroll experience preferred but not required).

+ Maintain accounting records using Sage 100 and Microsoft Excel.

+ Support project accounting activities, including progress billing and job costing for large capital equipment projects.

Requirements

Qualifications

+ Minimum of 5 years of accounting or bookkeeping experience.

+ Strong understanding of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and reconciliations

+  Excel skills, including Pivot Tables and VLOOKUPs.

+ Construction, manufacturing, project accounting, or job costing experience is highly preferred.

+ Stable work history with a desire to build a long-term career.
