Senior Accountant – Financial Reporting

The Senior Accountant – Financial Reporting supports the monthly close and reporting processes and is responsible for delivering accurate and timely financial reporting. This position provides exposure to finance leadership and key stakeholders.

• Supports the financial reporting process by aggregating, analyzing, and validating financial data and other business metrics.
• Assists in the preparation and review of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including the Statement of Cash Flows, in accordance with U.S. GAAP, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timeliness.
• Responds to questions, provides ad hoc analysis, and variance analysis reporting to key stakeholders.
• Partners with financial systems teams to design and implement reporting solutions that support accurate and efficient financial reporting, including data integration from Oracle into Workiva.
• Drives process improvements and automation initiatives within the financial reporting and close process to increase efficiency, scalability, and accuracy.
• Ensures adherence to GAAP, internal accounting policies, and internal control procedures while supporting internal and external audit requests.
• Owns aspects of technical and industry specific accounting which includes research, entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and serving as subject matter expert.
• Supports financial system implementations, upgrades, and reporting improvements.
• Performs standalone and other financial statement audits.
• Other duties as assigned.

Travel:

• Bachelor’s Degree
• 5-8 years of experience

• CPA or CPA eligibility preferred
