An established Louisville-based organization specializing in marketing solutions is seeking an experienced accounting professional to join their team. With decades of industry experience this organization provides integrated solutions.

Opportunity

This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on accounting professional who enjoys digging into the details, taking ownership, and understanding the "why" behind the numbers. The company is seeking someone who can independently manage the accounting function while identifying opportunities to improve processes and increase efficiencies.

This role is ideal for a Full Charge Bookkeeper, Senior Bookkeeper, Accounting Manager, or hands-on Controller who enjoys staying involved in the daily accounting operations. and wants work-life balance with no direct reports.

Key Responsibilities

+ Manage full-cycle accounting processes, including:

+ Month-end close

+ Journal entries and accruals

+ General ledger maintenance

+ Bank reconciliations

+ Financial statements

+ Cash flow management

+ Handle Kentucky sales and use tax, corporate, property, and city tax filings

+ Complete compliance reporting, including 401(k) and medical census reporting

+ Support AP, AR, invoicing, and general accounting functions as needed

+ Identify opportunities for process improvements, automation, and future system integrations

+ Provide accurate financial information and insights to support business decisions

Systems Experience

+ Quick Books Online experience preferred (future ERP implementation anticipated)

+ Comfortable utilizing technology and Microsoft Excel (basic to intermediate skills)

Schedule & Location

+ Louisville, KY (100% onsite)

+ Monday-Friday schedule

+ Core hours: 9:00 AM-4:00 PM

+ Flexible start/end times to complete a 40-hour workweek

+ Open to part-time candidates (approximately 30-32 hours/week), including:

+ Four-day workweek or

+ Shorter daily schedules
