- Manage the accounting and reporting for the company's lease portfolio, including operating and finance leases.
- Maintain accurate fixed asset records, including additions, disposals, transfers, depreciation, and asset retirements.
- Perform monthly depreciation and amortization calculations and ensure appropriate recording in the general ledger.
- Prepare and post recurring and adjusting journal entries related to leases and fixed assets.
- Perform monthly account reconciliations for fixed assets, accumulated depreciation, lease liabilities, and related accounts.
- Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes.
- Monitor capital expenditures and ensure assets are appropriately classified, recorded, and placed in service.
- Review and reconcile lease schedules to the general ledger and supporting documentation.
- Assist with lease modifications, renewals, terminations, and other changes to lease agreements.
- Support the implementation and ongoing accounting treatment of leases in accordance with ASC 842.
- Assist with annual fixed asset and lease audits by providing schedules, reconciliations, and supporting documentation.
- Partner with Accounts Payable, Procurement, Operations, and other departments to ensure transactions are recorded accurately and timely.
- Research accounting issues and assist with the application of GAAP to fixed asset and lease transactions.
- Identify discrepancies and make recommendations to improve accounting processes and internal controls.
- Maintain organized documentation and support internal and external reporting requirements.
- Assist with special projects and process improvement initiatives within the accounting function.

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of accounting experience, preferably with fixed assets, leases, or general ledger accounting.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and month-end close processes.
- Experience with fixed asset accounting and depreciation.
- Familiarity with ASC 842 and lease accounting preferred.
- Strong Excel skills, including Pivot Tables and VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP.
- Experience working with an ERP or accounting system.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to analyze financial data.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
