A leading organization in the quick-service restaurant industry is seeking a detail-oriented Sr. Revenue Specialist to support the accurate recording of sales and cash activity across U.S. restaurant locations. This role is responsible for daily cash matching, account reconciliations, discrepancy research, and period-end financial activities.

The successful candidate will work closely with teams supporting financial controls, loss prevention, treasury, audit, and field operations to help ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform daily matching and monitoring of cash, credit card, and gift card transactions.
  • Research, investigate, and resolve discrepancies through location outreach, over/short reporting, bank research, and refund coordination.
  • Complete period-end reconciliations for cash, credit card, gift card, and other general ledger accounts.
  • Monitor and complete weekly sales distribution activities.
  • Prepare, log, and upload journal entries during each accounting period.
  • Provide backup support for core team processes, including missing-sales research, sales suspense accounts, gift card journal entries, overhead allocations, and brand-level matching activities.
  • Maintain well-organized documentation and support audit-ready financial processes.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to identify issues, improve processes, and meet reporting deadlines.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree or at least 2 years of relevant experience in accounting, finance, reconciliations, or revenue operations.
  • Proficiency with JDE and Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, and data-analysis functions.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • High degree of accuracy, attention to detail, and analytical problem-solving ability.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience supporting finance or accounting operations in a large, multi-location organization.
  • Background in quick-service restaurant, hospitality, retail, or another high-volume transaction environment.
  • Experience with cash management, payment reconciliation, general ledger activity, or period-end close processes.
