The Sr. Revenue Specialist assists in ensuring sales and cash are accurately recorded on financial statements . This role involves daily cash matching, performs reconciliations, and researches discrepancies while collaborating with internal teams such as Control, Loss Prevention, Treasury, Audit, and Field Operations.
2.Responsibilities- Monitor and perform daily matching of cash, credit cards and gift card activity.
- Research and resolve discrepancies, including store outreach, over/short reports, bank research, and refund requests.
- Complete period-end reconciliations (e.g., cash, credit card, gift card, and other general ledger accounts).
- Monitor and perform sales distribution on a weekly basis.
- Prepare, log, and upload journal entries each period.
- Perform adhoc support as back up for the team (e.g., missing sales, sales suspense accounts, preparing, gift card journal entries, overhead allocations, and brand-level matching activities
- Bachelor’s degree or 2+ years of relevant work experience
- Proficiency with JDE and Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, etc.)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
