Role Overview :As our Accounts Specialist, you'll play a key role in keeping our financial processes streamlined and accurate. You’ll manage vendor payments, assist with financial record-keeping, and help ensure our accounting practices comply with current standards.
Key Responsibilities:- Maintain accurate records of vendor payments and financial obligations.
- Monitor deadlines for tax obligations and ensure timely payments.
- Process, record, and verify the accuracy of all invoices.
- Manage company credit card expenditures and payments.
- Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reviews.
- Collaborate with other departments to support accounting audits and compliance.
- Prepare and send out tax documents efficiently.
- Research and manage new vendor accounts, ensuring thorough documentation.
- Proven ability to manage details with precision.
- Familiarity with Quick Books and Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, etc.).
- Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational skills and the capacity to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Good communication skills, capable of working effectively with all levels of staff.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills, with a consistent record of meeting deadlines.
- Experience in accounts receivable or a similar role is highly advantageous.
- A degree in accounting, finance, or a related field is preferred.
- This role requires prolonged periods of sitting and frequent use of the computer.
- Occasionally lifting items weighing up to 15 pounds may be needed.
