We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to support day-to-day financial operations for a team based in Louisville, Kentucky. This long-term contract position is ideal for someone who is comfortable handling both payables and receivables while maintaining accurate records in a fast-paced environment. The role will involve working with accounting software, processing invoices, and ensuring financial information is entered and tracked with precision.

Responsibilities:

• Manage incoming invoices by reviewing, coding, and preparing them for timely payment.
• Record customer payments, reconcile outstanding balances, and help maintain accurate receivables records.
• Enter financial data into Quick Books and other internal systems with a high level of accuracy.
• Assist with routine account reconciliations to verify transactions and resolve discrepancies.
• Support invoice processing activities from receipt through documentation and filing.
• Maintain organized accounting records to ensure information is accessible for reporting and audit purposes.
• Communicate with vendors and internal stakeholders to address billing questions and payment issues.
