The Senior Auditor is a full-time, on-site role based in the Louisville Metropolitan Area. This role is responsible for planning, executing, and completing audit engagements, including risk assessments, testing internal controls, and evaluating financial statements for accuracy and compliance. The Senior Auditor will review work papers, mentor junior staff, and ensure adherence to professional standards and firm methodologies. Day-to-day activities include coordinating with clients, identifying process improvements, preparing audit reports, and communicating findings and recommendations to management.

The role also involves staying current with relevant accounting and auditing standards, contributing to quality control initiatives, and supporting the firm's commitment to client service.

• Strong technical skills in auditing and accounting, including planning audit engagements, performing substantive and control testing, and evaluating financial statements.
• Proficiency with audit software, spreadsheets, and general office productivity tools; ability to analyze data and prepare clear documentation.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present findings, draft reports, and collaborate effectively with clients and colleagues.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor team members, manage multiple engagements, and meet deadlines with strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field required; CPA license or progress toward CPA certification strongly preferred.
• Several years of relevant public accounting or audit experience, with increasing responsibility in managing audit engagements.
