The Jefferson County Circuit Clerks Office has an immediate opening for a Supervisor - Mondays through Fridays 3:30pm – 11:30pm.

CHARACTERISTICS OF THE JOB

Perform any daily administrative and operational job function assigned and, or, needed within the department. Carry out any duty assignment based on OCCC and CCC business needs.

EXAMPLES OF DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Supervise all aspects of the office including staffing, training, and administrative functions.
  • Analyze, assist, and resolve work problems.
  • Submit administrative paperwork as required.
  • Responsible for administrative contact with district criminal justice community and public appear in court asneeded.
  • Prepare affidavits of indigency for the courts.
  • Make recommendations to trial courts for pretrial release with supervision.
  • Monitor compliance for clients released with conditions or referred to as diversion.
  • Other duties assigned.
Minimum Requirements

EDUCATION: Bachelor's Degree

EXPERIENCE, TRAINING, OR

SKILLS:

Court experience is not required but is an asset

Substitute EDUCATION for

EXPERIENCE:

Associates Degree with 2 years job-related experience OR High School Diploma with 4 years job-related experience.

Substitute EXPERIENCE for

EDUCATION:

NONE

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS (AGE, LICENSURE, REGULATION, ETC.): NONE

Working Conditions

Work is primarily performed in an office setting. Some travel may be required. Lift up to 20 lbs. Bend, reach, stand, stoop, and traverse area. Climb ladders and steps. Due to the nature of job duties and responsibilities, this position is not authorized for virtual work.
