We are a local non-profit organization founded in 1970 by Louisville-area parents of people with IDD.

The Linn Station Administrative Assistant provides reception and administrative support for the Linn Station office. They are responsible for front desk coverage, mail and deliveries, office supplies and common areas, meeting and Board support, and designated finance support functions.
- Serves as the primary visitor and telephone contact for the Linn Station office, greeting and directing visitors and screening and routing incoming calls.
- Provides general information about Cedar Lake services and employment to visitors, callers and prospective employees.
- Receives, sorts and distributes incoming mail, packages and deliveries, and prepares outgoing mail and mailings.
- Maintains the appearance and organization of the reception area, office common areas, and the mail and copier rooms.
- Orders, stocks and distributes office and kitchen supplies, and maintains inventory.
- Assists with meeting and event preparation and maintains conference room calendars.
- Provides administrative support for Board materials, including preparing, distributing and maintaining reports, rosters and meeting records.
- Maintains official copies of corporate records, policies, procedures and job descriptions as directed.
- Maintains physical tenant files at the Linn Station office in accordance with HUD requirements.
- Performs finance support functions as authorized and directed by Finance staff, including deposits, check processing for the organization and for Individuals we support, related recordkeeping, and monthly credit card reporting. This position does not authorize disbursements.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent is required. Associate degree is preferred.
- One or more years of administrative, reception, or office support experience is required. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Outlook, and Excel.
- Valid driver’s license is required.
Full-time, non-exempt, 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday, generally an eight-hour shift worked between 7:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Overtime must be approved in advance by the supervisor.
