Junior Buyer

We are seeking a Junior Buyer to join our growing team. You will provide general purchasing assistance to the Purchasing Department. Pay is in the $52K to $55K range, depending on experience.

• Purchase items for Louisville Maintenance & Safety Departments
• Match and scan purchase receipts in Timber Scan, receive material in Sage
• Contact Project Managers & suppliers for POD/Receiving Paperwork
• Approve invoices in Timber Scan
• Check inventory levels in Sage and reorder as needed
• Type purchase orders and send POs to vendors
• Print open order reports and track material to ensure delivery dates are met
• Scan PO’s and associated documents to the Purchasing job files on Dropbox
• Order office supplies
• Provide routine administrative support
• Assist with physical inventory and reconciliation

• High school diploma or its equivalent with 0-2 years of experience
• Ability to read and interpret documents and internal and external company product or equipment drawings
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
