About the Role
We’re looking for a motivated and detail‑oriented Intern to support our recruiting and operations team. This role is ideal for a student or early‑career professional interested in learning more about staffing, recruiting, accounting & finance industry trends. You’ll gain hands‑on experience while helping keep our database, office, and projects running smoothly.
Key ResponsibilitiesUpdate and maintain candidate and client data including job titles, salary details, contact information, and demographics
Organize and streamline our database to ensure accuracy and accessibility
Research companies, markets, and industry trends across Accounting/Finance and HR fields
Assist in planning and coordinating events and engagement initiatives for candidates and clients
Provide general administrative support to keep the office operating smoothly
Run occasional errands and support day‑to‑day operational needs
Assist with special projects focused on improving the candidate and client experience
Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree (Business, HR, Communications, Accounting, Marketing, or related field preferred — but not required)
Strong attention to detail and organization
Comfortable working with spreadsheets, databases, and online tools
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment
Positive, proactive attitude and willingness to learn
Exposure to recruiting, staffing, and talent acquisition
Experience working with real‑world business systems and processes
Insight into Accounting/Finance and HR hiring trends
Mentorship and hands‑on training from an experienced recruiting team

Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco/Highspring depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to the individual’s skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, office location and other geographic considerations, as well as other business and organizational needs.
