Job Description- Responsible for timely and accurate processing of weekly, bi‑weekly, semi‑monthly and monthly payrolls for 60,000+ employees (union and non‑union) across multiple states, Canada, Puerto Rico, and the Virgin Islands.
- Gather, analyze, and summarize financial information.
- Research and resolve payroll problems and discrepancies.
- Enter employee maintenance, run payroll process, prepare reports, calculate manual checks, issue stop payments.
- Stay current with system updates and changes.
- Ensure payroll integrity through audit reports, data analysis, and collaboration with team members.
- Maintain payroll operations by following policies and procedures and reporting needed changes.
- Maintain employee confidence and protect payroll operations by keeping information confidential.
- Maintain knowledge of company payroll policies, procedures, guidelines, and regulations under federal, state, and local governments.
- Provide customer service and problem resolution to operational staff.
- Multi‑task and prioritize.
- Handle heavy email and phone communication.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- GED or High School Diploma required.
- Associate’s degree or technical training preferred.
- 1–3 years of payroll or data entry experience preferred.
- 1–3 years of experience using payroll software, especially ADP and/or Kronos.
- Professionalism, with an emphasis on customer service.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, including verbal and written communication.
- Strong organizational skills, detail oriented.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills.
